Welcome to POLARICA

Our company is located in a beautiful countryside of Pomerania region in north-west Poland. We are surrounded by strawberry plantations, in neighbourhoods there are forests and orchards.
Our core business is to produce premium quality IQF fruit, according to the customer’s specific requirements. Annually we process over 10.000 tons of different fruits; strawberries, cherries and blueberries being the essence of the volume.

Polarica Group

Polarica Poland is part of Polarica Holding AB based in Haparanda, in Swedish Lapland. The group consists of four production facilities located in Haparanda , Sotkamo and Rovaniemi in Finland and Swidwin in Poland. Product portfolio contains wild berries, cultivated berries and game meat. Our customers are to be found in foodstuffs and pharmacy industries, catering wholesales and retailers.

Most important products of wild berries are blueberries and lingonberries, which are produced inl three factories. Concerning cultivated fruits the most significant are strawberries, sour cherries and currants which are contract farmed and produced by our Polish factory. All berry products are available in different industrial packing sizes as well as small packages from 150 – 2500 g for catering and retail customers. Game meat products are offered from our Swedish and Finnish plants, reindeer and venison being volume vice the most relevant products.

The company has been established by Mr. Allan Lehto 1972. Acquisition of Polarica Poland took place in 1989 and the Sotkamo plant joined Polarica in 1999. Since 2011 we have in our group Lapin Liha.

Polarica’s annual turnover is ca. 120 million euros and average employment is on the level of 270 persons. Total volume of processed berries is on the level of 25.000 tons and meat 8.000 tons. Shares of Polarica are 100% in private hands.
